Thanks in anticipation,
WoodpunkHi all, Anyone have advice about pain during burn recovery?
I'm not a doc but I've had lots of experience with severe burns. I imagine the burn may have gone deep enough to damage the joint itself. There isn't alot of tissue on the top of the thumb so it may be possible that the cartlidge has been damaged. I hope you've sought medical attention, burns can become infected very very easily and as you can imagine that would cause serious problems for you. You should run it by your doc and see what he or she thinks.Hi all, Anyone have advice about pain during burn recovery?
Hey kamrbone,
Thanks for the advice. I didn't see a doctor at the time of the injury as I was not in a situation where this would have been possible. However I shall do so- better late than never I hope!
