Can anyone offer advice on a question about sex during pregnancy?

I know they say it's safe to have sex during pregnancy but I worry about having sex in missionary position (man on top) because my husband is laying on top of me. I worry that him pressing on top of me will hurt the baby. Anyone have advice on this?Can anyone offer advice on a question about sex during pregnancy?
Your baby is VERY well protected floating in the amniotic fluid in your uterus. You would have to take a SERIOUS fall to harm the baby. A little pressure from intercourse isn't going to harm baby. If you are physically uncomfortable in that position (which may happen later in the PG) then you just find different positions that work for you.Can anyone offer advice on a question about sex during pregnancy?
If you have a big belly don't let him lay on it.You can try doggy style.Or him behind you while your laying on your side.(like your spooning)That one seems to work the best.
This worried me too especially when it was my first pregnancy, but the truth is that as long as u feel comfortable and no pain, ur baby is fine and well protected in there, u will soon get too big for missionary anyway and i found that lying on my side with hubby behind me and enter that way is gr8 up until birth time!

After your first trimester you shouldn't be having sex like that cause then the baby is a bit bigger and you aren't suppose to be laying on your back flat, or having pressure on your stomach, the baby being bigger cuts off blood flow to some major vessels. So if you are past your first trimester it would be safer if you found a different position,
You should not have him on top of you. Get dirty and try some new positions! Lay on your back on the edge of the bed and have him stand up with your legs on his shoulders. You can still be lazy with out him on top of you
it is fine. but u might be more comfy to try doggie style..missionary style will not hurt the baby u will just feel alilttle presure and u might not have orgasm..
I heard this too, and Im glad you asked it. I too had the same question, but I also read somewhere that you cant let them ';finish'; insdie you because it my cause irritation that can lead to contractions?
You will be fine, don't worry. LOL, later it will get in his way so you won't have to worry about it lol. It is very possible to have sex in that position while pregnant. Just tell him to stay off your belly. Congrats!
