I need some advice about cooking meat...?

I want to cook up some hamburger patties but they are frozen. Do I have to wait for them to thaw or can i cook them how they are?I need some advice about cooking meat...?
Depends how you're cooking them. If you're cooking on a grill, you can cook them now without a problem. If you're cooking them in a frying pan, you can do it now, but be careful. Water and grease don't mix! If there's a lot of ice on them, it will start to splatter when it hits the hot grease. Best bet is to just stick them in the microwave for a minute on ';defrost'; before throwing them in the pan. Or don't heat the grease too much (set it on low for a little bit until the burgers look like they're not as frozen, then you can turn the heat up afterwards).I need some advice about cooking meat...?
You're welcome :-)

You can cook them frozen, but the taste will be watered down. If you wait to thaw them you can season them.

The best way is to make them from scratch.
you can cook them frozen, or you can though them. i have done this either way for many year's. before you freeze them add your ingredient's, mix them well, make your patties, %26amp; then freeze them! this will save you a lot of time if you have a large get togeather.
to tell you the truth, you can cook them frozen. it'll taste the same as it would if you let them thaw down. putting it in the microwave is hazardous but boiling is nutritious, healthy and tastes good. my mother also told me to always put the patties in when the water is boiling to kill bacteria. oh yeah, when the pattes finish boiling, tske the patties out and drain out the oil(it's fattening and causes heartburn, heart attacks etc.)
you can put them in the microwave for a min or so or cook them, it will just take a little longer
I like grilling frozen patties. I allow 10 minutes for the CLOSED grill to warm up. I place the frozen patties on....and time about 3 minutes, then use the spatula in the ';6 o'clock'; position, moving to the left in the ';9 0'clock'; position for another 3 minutes--for a total of 6 minutes. Watch closely for ';flame ups';, which normally can be solved by allowing the grill open for a minute or so.

Be sure to CLOSE the grill between re-positioning and flips.

Flip the patties over and do the same thing as above.

Once that step is done, flip the patties over for 3 minutes, each side.

That should do it. For BBQ: coat each side for the last minute of grilling.
For best results, let them defrost over night in the frig. Maybe opnce they're defrosted, soak them in a thin seasoned sauce, and cook them on the bbq at medium (that is if your grill is a gas one.). But first spray the grill with Pam For Griling.
wait till they thaw then cook them....or you can just read what it says on the package...?? lol
if they are thin, maybe 1/4 inch or less, you can just throw them on the grill, they will be fine and thaw as they cook.
I cook them on low heat covered with a lid so they thaw while they cook. To much heat will sear the outside keeping it red in the middle.
Personally, I'd wait until they thaw because if you cook them the way that they are, then the outside will cook, but the inside will be raw. Also, you won't get most of the juices out of them because the juices will still be frozen. To quickly thaw them out, take them and put them in hot water. Hope this helped.
you can cook them frozen they just take a while longer, Idealy, though, it would be best to thaw them first, they will take the seasoning better. are you barbqing or frying them, be carefull if frying, the ice will spatter in a hot pan.
you can do it either way
Get a pan and put it on the stove. Wait for it to get really hot......

then put the burgers on wait for 3 minutes and bring the heat to medium wait another 3 minutes and flip............. (that if you like it well-don)
you can cooked them the way they are. you'll want to cook them at a lower heat though at least until the middles thawed out
you can cook them frozen, just keep them off the flame for a while, until they are thawed, then finish cooking on the flame like normal...
You can cook them like they are but they would have to cook a little longer
