Can you give me advice about the following:?

What does an ivy league college look for in a person, addmissions essay, and everything else? Can you give me advice about the following:?
I think that an ivy league college would look for someone unusual. Someone who takes the initiative to do things that everyone else doesn't. If you start a club, or volunteer at the hospital regularly, those are good things. They also look for committment. They don't want you to quit something after one year. If you play the same sport all through high school, this will help as well.

As for an essay, you want to write about a meaningful event that happened to you. Again, it should be about something unusual, something that everyone won't write about. A good idea for your essay is to write it early, then show it to your high school counselor for him/her to look at it. Counselors know what colleges are looking for. Good luck! Can you give me advice about the following:?
I don't know what they look for, but I'll let you in on a dirty little secret that I read about on an online news website.

The dirty little secret is that as long as you have a decent gpa, it's nearly impossible for a college to deny you admission more than once.

All you to is keep re-applying and after three or four times and as long as your gpa is up to par they have to let you in.

Seriously, I read that on Cnn.com

I don't know how true it is but I remember the story clearly.
