Why do doctors giuve out such bad advice, especially about avoiding saturatd fat?

Only a true moron would think reducing absorption of healthful fat soluable nutrients ( which is exactly what low saturated fat diets do) is somehow beneficial........Why do doctors giuve out such bad advice, especially about avoiding saturatd fat?
Those same healthful fat-soluble nutrients (vitamins A, D, E, K) are not only soluble in saturated fat.... they're also soluble in unsaturated fat! This unsaturated fat is much better for you than the saturated fat and can still carry the healthful nutrients. On top of that, most people are not eating too little fat in their diet, hence the more-oft hear recommendation to reduce fat intake.
