Any advice on what to do about being a computer engineering major working in IT?

Ever since I started college, all of my jobs have been IT-related and I really enjoy what I do. I'm about halfway done with my BA in computer engineering and I really don't want to switch majors at this point. Do you think it would be beneficial for me to pursue an MBA in computer science or would my computer engineering degree be sufficient for the work that I do?Any advice on what to do about being a computer engineering major working in IT?
First of all computer engineering is not a degree that falls under IT, it has a bit higher standing. An engineering degree has more emphasis on mathematical and scientific theory whereas an IT degree focuses on techniques and applications of these theories. They are both good but it is important to differentiate. It depends greatly on what you are interested in.





Second of all there is no such thing as an MBA in engineering. MBA stands for Master of Business Administration, in the case of engineering it is Master of Sciene.





A Master degree is always a plus , although it may not benefit you right away it will help you advance more quickly in the future.
