Advice about talking to someone about smoking pot?

A younger girl that I know..who is basically my little sister.. just called me from her friends birthday party and was talking about weed while they were all ';prank calling'; me... I'm concerned but I don't know how to go about talking to her about it..or if I just shouldn't talk to her about it at all. Any advice?Advice about talking to someone about smoking pot?
As long as this girl isnt under 13 then dont flip. Teens all do it. Most will grow out of it eventually. If you really are concerned for her just take it slow and warn her not to smoke and DRIVE first. weed isnt that bad compared to most drugs but sometimes weed it can lead to trying something else like acid or x or shrooms which are things u do NOT wanna mess with.


My boyfriend's cousin smoked weed once and decided (while he was high) that it would be a good idea to start huffing god know what. Sorry to say thats the last breath he took. he died and it devistated my boyfriend.


tell your friend that story and tell her how much it would hurt you if anything would ever happen to her. Tell her to BE CAREFUL. but dont yell at her for smoking because teens liek to be rebels but understand concerned emotions from their friends.





If she still wants to smoke its her decision. But if my answer has taught u anything i want it to be this.


TELL HER TO WATCH WHILE THEY ROLL THE JOINT. IT IS NOT FUN WHEN YOUR WEED IS LACED WITH PCP AND YOU DONT KNOW ABOUT IT UNTIL ITS TOO LATE.


seriously. you gotta tell her that. It will mess you up really really really bad. not just for a few hours, u gotta sleep it of. and some people claim months later that they havent been the same. please tell her that someone you know smoked it without knowing and that u dont want her to make the same mistake.

13 or older is probably nothing to worry about.


Everyone I know does it.


It's not that bad at all.


Just be glad she's not an alcoholic or addicted to cigarettes or anything that could kill her.


The only harmful effect of weed is that over a long period of time you might have a little short term memory loss... but what DOESN';T do that these days lol.
Dont do anything unless shes under 13. Shes probably not even inhaling and actually getting high like most kids.
