can you not put some kind of protection over the pond? there are all sorts of nets and grids out there on the market. if your pond is deep enough your fish should be able to escape from the cat anyway, they're not so big on getting their paws wet. herons are a bigger risk.I am buying 2 拢200 pound fish for my pond but theres a cat about advice ?

i know some one which had a electrircy pond kinda thing a cat knocked it down it killed 5 fish!!
You can buy a grid from your local pet shop and just cut it accordingly to the size of your pond. Don't kill the cat, even if its a stray cat. That's really cruel. Call your local city pound, they might be able to get rid of the cat in the most humane way. I hope it helps.

Netting works and it's very effective, but it really does ruin the look of the pond :(.





The motion sensor water sprayer might be commercially available in gardening stores near you, or you could get a local hardware store to assist you in how to do it. Shouldn't be too hard to get hold of, or if not, make :)

Stray? Kill it.





Harsh, but no one likes a stray. If it's not taken care of then it will add to the problem as well as possibly spread illnesses.
